It is the goal of our lab to develop clinically relevant methods to improve functional recovery after acquired or traumatic nerve injuries.  We are currently investigating the pathology of muscle degradation following acute traumatic nerve injuries as well as better understanding chronic nerve compression injuries. In addition, we actively train undergraduates, medical students, and medical residents for a career in research and medicine.
